Name our new Buses

21st October 2025

We have 6 shiny new Volvo’s that need names. The competition winners will have the honour of seeing their named bus travelling through Dumfries & Galloway, as far north as Edinburgh and as far south as Carlisle and as far west as Stranraer. We are excited about our new buses and would love to hear your name ideas. The new name will be placed on the exterior of the front of the bus in prime position.

Some of our previous winning names include:

  • Sir Stops a Lot
  • Arthurs Seat
  • Clyde
  • Whitney
  • Bus Lightyear

We would like to limit 2 name suggestions per person. Open to all ages. The quirkier the better.

To submit a name you can either message below or email us on info@houstonscoaches.co.uk
*If you leave a message below we will acknowledge the message once it has been added to the list.

Closing Date – 16th November 2025.
Winning Names will be announced 17th November 2025.
